Join us for the Special Stars Foundation Christmas Abseil Challenge and experience the thrill of descending one of Hull's iconic buildings, while helping create opportunities for children and adults with disabilities and special educational needs across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Whether you're taking on a personal challenge, fundraising with friends, or entering as a team through your organisation, every step you take will help make a lasting difference.

Just £23 can provide someone with additional needs the opportunity to take part in an activity that could make a real difference to their confidence, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Hosted By

The event is delivered by Lost Earth Adventures, experienced outdoor challenge specialists who will support you throughout the experience.

Can Anyone Take Part?

Absolutely!

No previous abseiling experience is required. This challenge is designed to be accessible to people from all walks of life, whether you're a seasoned adventurer or trying something completely new.

Requirements

• Aged 10 years and above

• Able to climb four ladder steps

• Comfortable following safety instructions

Our first fundraising abseil, held at Princess Quay Shopping Centre in October 2025, brought together more than 40 participants and raised thousands of pounds for local families.

This year, we're aiming even higher.
